Shadow of Sinnoh RP

It has been over 100 years since team Galactic had disbanded, defeated when they were trying to use the three legendary Pokemon, to create a new universe in which to live. A new threat has orison in the sinnoh region, this threat is in the form of the shadow servants, men and women who follow an enigmatic man, known only as the shadow lord. Focussing on world domination. The shadow lord has only been seen by the elite four, who he defeated with great ease.

The shadow lords generals have defeated all of the gym leaders of the sinnoh region with ease and are gloating that there is no pokemon trainer in the world with the ability to defeat the great power that is the shadow servants.

There is a small group of pokemon trainers who are training in secret in order to beat the evil shadow servants. This group of trainers calls themselves the hope of sinnoh.

The new pokemon professor, Professor pine, is a fan of the work of the great professor Rowan, and is still handing out the same three pokemon to new trainers, Piplup, chimchar and turtwig, which did you choose?

Standing with the breeze blowing through his short hair, Stephen was looking out over the sea, he was on his way home to twinleaf town, to visit his father as he had recieved a phone call asking to return home.

Standing looking out over the water, Stephen smiled, his Eevee was purched on his shoulder, "ready to go home?" Stephen asked as he glanced upwards at the small pokemon "Vee" replied the small pokemon.

Stephen's Eevee hoped off his shoulder and walked along next to him, towards Twinleaf, the trip from Sandgem wasn't that far, so Stephen wasn't worried.

Aria awoke with a cold sweat coating his body. He looked over to the digital clock on his bedside table which read it was 5:04 am of the morning he was to become a pokemon trainer.

Aria rose from his bed and got dressed into his jeans and jacket, and pulled on his baseball cap, which he turned to the left side ever so slightly.

Walking over to his window he opened it wide and looked out over the grounds around his fathers Pokemon center, the sun was just starting to creep over the tops of the trees that Aria could see from his bedroom window.

"Time to get going" Aria said as he packed the supplies his father had given him the night before. Seven pokeballs to help him get started catching his pokemon and enough money to last him several months.

Aria leapt out of his bedroom window and landed on the damp grass with his backpack tightly secured to his back.

Aria set off at a sprint to Prof. Pine's laboratory but realising how early he was he set himself down outside of the lab at 6:34am where he fell asleep, until he found himself being poked by several small yellow pokemon, who when he awoke and swung at them fired several bolts of electricity at him, he leapt up from where he sat and threw himself through the doors of Prof. Pine's labs.

"Hey Prof. Pine" Aria yelled as he began hyperventilating after just being attacked by what he realised where several pichu's. "I'm here because my father organized for me to become a Pokemon trainer after talking with your son about my abilities as a trainer." Aria spoke purposefully as he strode upto Prof. Pine.

"Ahh yes your Aria, I wasnt expecting you yet" Prof. Pine spoke softly as he walked over to a counter on which where three pokeballs. "Come here and I will inform you of what are in these three pokeballs.

"In the first one on your left is Chimchar a fire type pokemon, In the central ball is Piplup a water type pokemon and in the right ball is the pokemon known as Turtwig a grass type pokemon. Which will you choose to aid you in your quest as a pokemon trainer?" Pine spoke as he pointed to each pokeball in turn.

"I am going to take Chimchar with me" Aria spoke as he reached for the left hand pokeball and released Chimchar from within.

"Hi their little fella, I'm your new trainer" Aria said with a smile as he held out an arm for Chimchar to climb onto.

As Chimchar climbed up onto Aria's arm Chimchar clung onto Aria's neck with a sign of affection for him, even though he had only just met Aria for the first time.

"Now your introduction is finished shall we finish getting you sorted?" Pine spoke as he looked at Chimchar and Aria.

Aria looked up as Pine handed him one of the latest models of the pokedex. "This shall come in handy and aid you in more than one way." Pine chuckled as Chimchar curled up on top of Aria's head.

"Thankyou Prof." Aria spoke as he checked his pokegear. It was now 11:42am, he wondered where and how the time had gone but dismissed it as the Prof. wished him good luck on his travels.

Aria left the Prof. and said goodbye as he set of to try and track down the little pichus who attacked him earlier.

"Chimchar we have some work to do" Aria said as the Pichu's reappeared as he walked into the forest behind the laboratory.

"Tackle now" Aria shouted as Chimchar dodged a lightning bolt as the largest Pichu attacked.

Chimchar slammed head first into the first Pichu sending it careering into a nearby tree. But instead of that being it, several dozen other Pichu's and other pokemon appeared as Chimchar and Aria had disturbed them from their slumber.

As Aria and Chimchar backed away all of the pokemon unleashed their attacks sending both Aria and Chimchar flying into the air and through the sky, until they landed near the entrance to the laboratory where once they had landed, Aria pulled his mobile phone from his jacket and rang the person named Stephen who had told his father of Aria's abilities.

"Hey.... Stephen its Aria I healed your pokemon in my fathers poke center not to long ago and kinda need your help, as we just got attacked by the pokemon of the forest not to far behind your fathers laboratories. Can you come and help us train? If you have the time that is."

Aria ended the call as he reached into his bag and pulled a super potion from within and healed Chimchar of his small cuts and bruises from the onslaught.

"Lets just wait here now" Aria spoke as Chimchar sat up looking rather dazed.

as Stephen strode through Route 201, his phone let out a couple of beeps signalling he had a voice mail. he opened the phone up and held it to his ear, after dialling his voice mail.

"Hey.... Stephen its Aria I healed your pokemon in my fathers poke center not to long ago and kinda need your help, as we just got attacked by the pokemon of the forest not to far behind your fathers laboratories. Can you come and help us train? If you have the time that is."

Stephen smiled as he flipped the phone closed again and increased his speed slightly, arriving at the small village of Twinleaf, he saw Aria and a young and un-trained Chimchar. Stephen smiled as he looked down at his eevee, he crouched down and the small pokemon leaped up his arm, and sat on his shoulder.

Strideing over Stephen placed his hand on the Nest ball connected to his belt, as he came to near Aria he pushed the button in the center of the ball and threw it infront of him the ball opened and a Leafeon materialized, the ball returned to the palm of Stephen's hand, he hit the button again, making it shrink, and then clipped it back onto his belt "Hey Aria, i heard you needed some help training" Stephen shouted over with a smirk on his face.

"well, your chimchar is a fire type, so this here Leafeon, should be no problem for it" Stephen paused a moment "oh thats a point, can you tell if it's a boy or a girl?" Stephen asked, smirking slightly.

"Thank god your here and yes I can tell its a boy, Chimchar is a boy." Aria muttered back as he and Chimchar rose to their feet and faced Stephen.

Aria crouched down and muttered something and Chimchar suddenly leapt into the air and began tackling Leafeon from the air until he landed and tackled Leafeon extra hard head first.

"Hows that?" Aria asked as he stood back up from his crouch.

Leafeon danced around the embers, and smirked as Chimchar charged towards it, "Lefeon, Razor leaf" Stephen announced, before leafeon Launched 5 razor sharp leaves, from the leaf on it's head, directly into the path of Aria's Chimchar.

"Even with the Chimchar's resistance to Grass attacks, Leafeon should win this" Stephen thought to himself as he looked at the battle.

Chimchar danced around twirling through the air as he dodged the incoming leaves which even though Chimchar was grass resistant, could still pack a nasty punch if they came into contact with him.

Chimchar then flung himself at Leafeon from which he began scratching at Leafeon's body.

leafeon took the scratches, and stumbled back, Stephen gritted his teeth, maybe he should have gone with tough training rather than the easier option, Stephen pulled his Nest ball back off his belt, and extended it out infront of him "Leafeon thats enough, Return" Stephen announced as he clipped the ball back to his belt and slid hi hand round to the dive ball, "thats to cruel, especially considering he just got that little fella" Stephen thought to himself as he moved his hand around and pulled off the premier ball from his belt.

"flareon go" Stephen announced as the ball sprang to life and a flareon appeared, "No messing around, Flareon, Bite" stephen announced, before flareon charged towards the chimchar, jumped and fell towards it teeth first.

Aria watched the sight of Stephen quickly switching pokemon and unleashing another attack.

Chimchar had not time to move and so instead flung himself foward and used scratch.

Chimchar froze just as Flareon bit him and so fell to the ground in a temporary daze.

The daze didnt last for long as Chimchar was back on his feet and scratch again for although Chimchar may be matched with Flareon as both are fire types, Chimchar was also a powerful melee attack and so set to work on a combo of tackles and scratch and the occasional leer.

"How am I doing?" Aria asked whilst Chimchar carried on his fight with Flareon

Shae was standing on a hill over looking a town spinning a pokeball on her finger, pikachu was sitting on her shoulder. Twinleaf city her first stop on her new journey.

"Think we will make some friends and find the first gym pikachu" Shae looked over at her Pikachu. "Pika pee (xD)

Shae nodded "let's do it Pikachu" "Pika pika" Pikachu nodded and smiled.

Shae started her walk down the hill and into the city known as twinleaf.

Shae stroded through the city and noticed a battle taking place. "Let's go check it out Pikachu" Pikachu smiled "Pika" Shae walked up and stood by as the battle took place. "Where is the nearest gym" she said in the spare time the little pause in the battle occured apon her arivle.

"How am I doing?" Stephen heard Aria ask, and he smiled "not bad, not bad at all" he informed her, "but this has to end" Stephen announced as he heard a new trainer arrive, and with the audience, he didn't want to look soft.

"Flareon" he announced, in a powerful tone "Hyper Beam!" he added in a tone just as powerful, Flareon opened his mouth, and a ball of white energy charged in his mouth, before Launching at the much weaker Chimchar.

Chimchar was dazed by the bright beam of light hurtling towards him and when the beam hit him he was sent careering into Aria's chest sending both of them to the floor.

"Holy crap" Aria yelled "Can Chimchar learn that at some stage?" Aria asked in surpise. As he to became aware of another trainer.

Stephen smiled a he held out the premiere ball and Flareon returned inside of it "no, sadly not, but if you train him properly, with care and love, when he evolves into an Infernape, he shall be able to" Stephen Informed Aria, before turning his attention to the Pokemon Trainer with the pikachu sat on his shoulder "as for the first gym in Sinnoh region, you will have to travel to Oreburgh City, and battle against Roark and his Rock type Pokemon. Stephen informed him with a smirk on his face.

stephen reached into his bag and pulled out a folded book like thing "here is a town Map, it's details all the routes and Cities in Sinnoh, i think it might come in useful" Stephen explained as he looked over the trainer once or twice "Jhoto region right, that pikachu kinda gives you away, not alot of trainers let their pokemon run free like that" Stephen spoke with a smile.

Shae smiled and nodded "Yea im from Jhoto" Shae replied as she looked over a pikachu "Pika" The cute pokemon said and tilted it's head to the side and looked at the two trainers the pokemon and jumped off of shae's shoulder and onto the ground and walked over to the two trainers tugging on their pant legs.

Shae giggled "Look's like pikachu has taken a liking to you both"

"Hey there little fella" Aria crouched down as he spoke to the trainers pikachu, Aria then introduced Chimchar to Pikachu and said "Pikachu this is Chimchar, Chimchar say hi" Aria spoke with power but still managed to keep his voice below a dull whisper.

Chimchar ducked behind Aria's leg and spoke "Char" as he stuck his head round from behind Aria's leg.

"Say whats your name stranger?" Aria asked as he watched Chimchar slowly edge shyly around from behind his leg. "Also if you dont mind an extra bit of practice for your upcoming gym battle would you mind fighting me?" Aria added as he leant against a nearby tree. "I could use some practice working out Chimchar's natural rhythm of attacks and defence." Aria spoke cooly as he held his leg out for Chimchar to run up.

Chimchar left Pikachu and sprinted up Aria's leg from where he climbed onto Aria's left shoulder. "Char Cha" Chimchar spoke excitedly.

Stephen watched the pokemon interact and smiled, His Eevee hadn't taken any notice of the other Pokemon roaming outside of their balls. Stephen looked at Aria as he made his request to the female Trainer "I wouldn't if i were you" he announced as he took a step closer to the female trainer "Jhoto is a long way away, and i dobt a trainer would be able to make it that far on their own" looking at the Girl who owned the Pikachu he smiled "how many Pokemon you got? and if you don't mind me asking" Stephen paused for a moment "what kinda are they?"

Shae smiled "My name is Shae" She looked over at the man leaning up against the tree. She focused hey attention at the man asking her how many pokemon.

With a swift move she flipped two balls into the air and cought them on two fingers they where spinning whilst they opened a small green pokemon appeared and looked around Larvitar.

the other pokeball opened and a red outline of a pokemon appeared the red faded and left the pokemon a majestic dragonair.

Two more pokeballs flew into the air realseing pokemon imideatly a growlth appeared and a ninetails. All around Shae "Say hello to my pokemon" She smiled

stephen looked over the team with a small smirk on his face "wow, a dragon, a Ground slash rock type, two fire types, and an electric Pokemon" He announced as he looked them over. Some people would find Stephen's knowledge of Pokemon amazing, but considering he was raised around them, he didn't really take notice of his Book smarts and preferred to show how strong he was in a battle that he would find a challenge, one of the main reason's he started the Gym Challenges.

He stood up straight and looked over at Shae "well i hope the map serves you well, I have things to do, i hope i will see you two around" Stephen spoke before turning and walking towards his father's lab.

Entering the lab he strode over to Professor Pine "whats up Prof?" he announced "well, firstly i wish you would call me dad" Pine replied before turning to face Stephen and his Eevee "well, Eevee seems well" the professor informed Stephen "No shit, what do you want?" Stephen replied, a tone of annoyance in his voice.

"watch your language, i simply called you back so i could ask you what your intentions are, i have heard rumours of a Pokemon trainer with an Eevee on his shoulder, and it's evolutions in seperate balls, running around Sinnoh hammering the Gym leaders into the floor" Pine announced "sounds like you" he added causing Stephen to smile "well, Dad" Stephen announced "I intend on taking on the elite four" Stephen informed his father "you think you can beat them?" Pine asked "nope" Stephen replied

"I know i can"

Shae watched as the man who she met with amazing knowledge of pokemon went into a building. She threw all 4 balls into the air each opining and capturing there respected pokemon. Shae put the balls into her purse and ran off after the man she didn't even catch his name.

She walked through the building that looked like a lab that professor elm's son had back in Jhoto.

"Hey again" Shae waved as she passed through the doors and saw and older man and the man she saw before.

Stephen spun around and saw Shae had followed him, "new girlfriend stephen?" Pine questioned causing Stephen to Glare at him "your funny old man, but she is a trainer, i met her outside" Stephen replied, he spun around and headed towards the door, he walked past shae and nodded to her, he kicked the door open and glanced over his shoulder at Shae "you comming Shae??" he asked politely

Shae nodded at the professor and the man walked by her kicked the door open and asked her to follow "Yea i'm comming" She smiled she ran through the door and back outside she turned around and faced the man "I never caught your name" She blushed.
