And oh yeah, the nickname part. Well, people have tried to give Julie a nickname, but... It's not possible, really. You can't give 'Julie' a good nickname. People have called me Jules, JuJu, Julinator (because I'm a beast, apparently), and other embarrassing names I'm not going to tell you.

My name is Vincentio Orlando Nortono, but I typically go by Von for short. You know--like an acronymn. Pretty fancy stuff. I used to get angry when people didn't refer to me by my name in FULL. That's first, last, and middle name included. I can recall classmates calling me Vinny on several occasions in grade school. When the darkness cleared and I came to, I remember the stares of horror. Needless to say, most people avoided me from that point on. At least no one called me Vinny. It's Vincentio Orlando Nortono, dammit!

But anywho, I've mellowed out over the years. Von works for me. Not Vinny, though. Just Von. Or Vincentio Orlando Nortono. That's fine... if you feel like typing all that. If you're not committed to typing the entire thing, then don't bother. Don't you dare bother!

Actually, my birth name is just Von. Short, simple, and not made up. I guess my parents had a thing for a baseball player from the '80s called Von Hayes. Decided to name me after him or something.
