Now that, my dear friend, is a different story.

From my experience, its important to be sure that you have a selection of smilies that encompass some of the most common emotions.

Heres a list of some smilies I pretty much expect in any forum:
- Smile
- Sad
- Rolling eyes
- Laughing
- Angry
- Wink
- Crying

Here are some popular smilies in my own forum:
- A smiling emoticon giving a thumbs up. Usually used after "owning" somebody
- A laughing smilie that rolls back and forth Used when a laughing smilie alone wont suffice
- A green smilie thats disgusted and about to puke
- An animated smilie thats bowing down

Those are just off the top of my head. Once I had the basics down and after my community was more "bonded", a new subset of smilies emerged. My community started making its own "inside joke" smilies that I added to the smilie set. Those are both a riot and a big hit.

I've actually noticed that it does. Sort of. Every few frames that area will turn a shade brighter.

Anyway, since Lind already took the liberty of giving my facepalm edits, I'll go ahead and share my other smilies.



I just realized that Tsuruya (and the Kyon facepalms) is the only non-AA smilie I've done.
