'Kay, so I've been fooling around with making PSP sized wallpapers for, well, my PSP. Nothing fancy I admit. I go with the ideology the bigger the canvas, the less you should do :P

Anyways, here's a few I've made:

The second one featuring the (busty) girl is Alkaid from the series .hack//G.U.

In particular, I think it might've have been a a slightly newer design of her after the movie .hack//G.U. trilogy was released (and my ghod, how horribly contradicting it was to the actual G.U. game series >_<)

Unrelated question, but not really: just how good were those .hack games? Also, was the series any good? I kind of gathered that it was about... a MMO or somethin', which turned me off a little bit. But if it's actually pretty good I might go ahead and check it out.

I didn't like the game, but that's probably because I sucked at it and managed to enter a random code that sent me to a fire world where i died and had to start all over. I might try it again, but only if I can find a way to get that stupid hacking animation to go away, sucks trying to hack things and having to watch a like 2 min cutscene every single time!

Oh and Mellusia, you've inspired me to practice more with my photoshop, I might start making banners or something ^_^.

These are awesome. Out of interest, what's the resolution like for PSP screens? Is the quality dulled at all?

The Zack Fair one is awesome and clean. Really nice work here. =]

I've only played .hack//G.U. of the .hack games. G.U. takes place after the first 4 .hack games, and is relatively separate story from that series. I was able to play G.U. without really needing to know anything about the first four games.

But anyways, I did enjoy G.U. a lot. I liked the characters (the main character comes off as a prick, but he's a good boy :3) and the story as well. You're playing an RPG game in which the story revolves around an MMORPG, but the main story is a virus going around and putting people in a coma and impacts the main character in particular. Voice actors were really good and the graphics aren't too shabby either.

Also the doses of fanservice aren't horribly over the top (busty chick with brains, pretty effeminate guy into the main character, the general ambiguous dialog *hint*end of vol 3*hint* >=D), so it shouldn't bug anyone not into that.

@Casanova: If you're asking about the size for images to be seen in a PSP, as far as I know, screen size for the PSP is 480 x 272, so if you follow that it should fit well enough in the PSP *shrugs*

Thank you; maybe in the near future I'll do stuff with scenes from ACC. Those graphics definitely need to be used for all their worth >=D

I always have trouble with real-life images, but I tried to give it a shot here with a purty image of a flower. Find some cute butterfly brushes and gave it the sparkles I personally love, but not sure if it worked out that well >.<

The subtlety of that flower wallpaper is awesome. Like, the way you gave it depth is awesome in itself. That's some grade A design right there.

These two new ones look freakin' awesome, you've done a great job on them. I would have liked them more if they were sharper in places, but really, they're fine as they are.
