As a partner thread for the Video Game Trailer thread, I'm posting one up for Animes as well. Were there any Animes that just had INCREDIBLY good trailers? For me, the best Anime trailer I saw was for the GONZO OVA Le Portrait de Petite Cosette. It definitely got me hooked, especially after hearing some of the voice acting, and the soundtrack. Check it out:
-Nod.- It's by Gonzo, so it's no wonder it looks so nice.
The first time I watched it I was like: "WTFWTFWTF!," but the anime grew on me the few times I watched it, and the dub was actually [surprisingly] good.
But, Fuyu, did you see any trailers that got you hooked? =o
For me, the most epic anime trailer was the trailer for KARAS!
When Kendra showed me that a while back I was just... amazed at how fucking great the visuals were, the action – everything. It was fuckin' superb, my friend.
I don't know about epic but this one sure is funny.
How did I miss that?! That's amazing. xD "We came, we saw, WE KICKED ITS ASS!" Lol.

I watched the trailer for that and thought it was interesting, but once I actually watched some of the clips of the show, I was a bit too distracted by all the unnecessary nudity, sex, etc. Of course, that's all the more reason for guys to watch it! xD I just...wasn't too interested. The villain seemed totally up my alley, but, the rest? xD

I agree whole heartedly, that trailer is bad ass! I'm glad it got you to watch it. =) It's a great anime, with one hell of a messed up second act. XD!
Seriously! I have to watch it a few times a year, man. And it's very rare that I look at stuff multiple times like that. I get bored of shit really quickly.

GREAT SCOTT! Is that a movie? Because the animation looks WAY too high-quality to be a series.
I've added The Prophecy and Karas: The Revelation. I don't know if they're both part of the six episodes, or what, though. Guess I'll find out when I watch them. Cool trailers though guys. Thanks.

You added the right ones. =) The Prophecy is the first one, and Revelation is the second half of it. Prepare for some "WTF" moments in the Revelation. xD Get back to us to let us know how you liked it!
