What are you playing right now?

Okay, self-explanatory, post here the game/games you're currently playing. Make sure not spam with just the game title, so give a few lines about what you think about the current game as well

For me, I'm working my way through Final Fantasy IV for the DS. I admit that I'm really enjoying the story and its character. Even though it has the max of 5 battle party members, it's still rather restrictive on how you can arrange them and such. It can be hard, but it's still enjoyable ^^
Hi, sorry about my lacking presence at RSF. I got busy with my off-line life, and though it's settled a bit, there's not much to do here without people posting (which is kind of my fault >.<)

Well, nothing is on right now since the computer is about two stairs from my room but here's what I'm playing (was/will).

God of War: Chains of Olympus-The mini-verison of Kratos on the PSP is like watching J-ello blood spill on the screen in all of its brutal glory. Button scheme is still hard to work with but I love playing it. Almost done, just need to beat the last boss.

Guilty Gear Judgment-The portable verison of the fighting game Guilty Gear XX Reload along with a side-scrolling beat 'em up. Almost done with Anji's story and then finish up on Venom's, Jam's, and Judgment himself.

Wild ARMs 5-A RPG with a Western cowboy like feel with it. Actually fun with a lot of planning, even in regular fights (I hate those Ape Man Volgas with a passion). Just finished fighting a boss in one of the towers and off to fight the last one.

I think I play games a bit too much. Oh well, I'm game freak but I love it!

Man, I was addicted to GunZ for a long, long time. LOL I finally stopped once I got tired of all the people hacking it and cheating to win and such. It just stopped being fun for me at that point.

But yeah, anyway, as I've stated in my thread, I'm playin' Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete for the first time.

Im playing a bunch of games right now about 15 ill just post a few there kinda old but im not into most of the newer games out right now.

Call of duty 2- Im actually just trying to beat this game on veteran difficulty i must say this is the second best cod next to cod4.Plus im also playing it online still not much to say its just another good fps game.

Duke Nukem II- Doing the same except i already beat it on hard I loved this game growing up so just the other day i ordered the game since i wanted the orginal floppy disc.A decent game with an awesome soundtrack.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas- Im sure everyone enjoyed this game alot it had a decent story line and the graphics were a bit better than vice city but GTAIII seemed to have better ones imo.

2moons- Its an mmorpg oh lawd but yeah its awesome i think im addicted to this game so much to do and your bound to be doning something all the time guess thats what a mmorpg is about.I wouldnt know since this is my first one i played i lol.

Well thats about it but there is more like i said before but here are a few i am playing most right now.

Killzone 2 - One of the most amazing games I've played to date.

Star Ocean 4 - Fun gameplay, but with a jumping story line.

HAWX - Some intense Gameplay when it starts getting difficult. One of those normal Tom Clancy story lines though.

Resident Evil 5 - All I can say is that I love this game. <3

Army of Two - Good Co-Op game. Not any better than Resident Evil 5, but still pretty good.

Alone in the Dark - I haven't put this in yet. D:

Call of Duty: World at War - Good game. Haven't really gotten into the Singleplayer though... But, nothing is better than killing Nazi Zombies! xD

Disgaea 3 - Best in the series.

    Like a Boss

Kill me, take me from this life of wreck::.
Kill me, slit my throat and watch the blood drip from my neck::.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon: This is really just like the previous games, but they're so darned fun!

Star Ocean: The Last Hope: It's quite an expansive game, and it's so damned pretty. I'm really enjoying it so far.

Jade Empire. I've played the crap outta this game in the past, yet I only just realized that I never beat the game as a "good" guy. I normally go down the dark path because I love the characters that back you up when you make corrupt decisions.

    I'm also playing:

    Pokemon Emerald
    Mario Kart DS
    Halo 3

I've been playing those in short bursts, though.

Man, how are those new Pokemon games anyway? I haven't played a Pokemon game since Gold.

  10. #10
Depends on what you mean by "new". Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald were all very good. Leafgreen and Firered were remakes of Red & Blue, so they're good. Nice remakes. Diamond and Pearl...
Well, I have my own feelings on those, but I may have just grown out of it. I haven't played any pokemon games in quite a while, so...

Anyway, the only game I'm currently playing is FFVIII, and it isn't even productive. I'm just fine-tuning my furthest save. Getting all of the final weapons, doing the Queen Of Cards sidequest, regular bullshit. Been too busy with the site and senior year to get into another game right now.

I have been Re-Playin Chrono Cross. Not a bad game.

    On an Xbox kick ~

Lost Oddysey - I really love the dream sequences...when you mix the powerful short stories with the freeform prose and almost poetic rate of revelation the result is a beauty that can only compliment a next gen rpg. Kaim is 10x better than squall and the music is awesome!

Soul Calibur IV - Ok so I love Amy but other than the two achievements I've managed, I really can't say I'm too into this one.

Fallout 3 : Broken Steel - It just came out yesterday and man do I love it. Fought my first, second and third overlord yesterday and even with sneak attack criticals from my metal blaster the beast still took almost a full cartridge of my depleting microfusion cells!!! Level 30 here I come!

I'm playing several games at the moment, but the most important are:

Left4Dead - Shooting zombies with your friends. It can't get much better than this.

CoD4 - Left it and came back recently. Still a good game. CoD5 isn't nearly as good as 4.

Battlefield 2142 - Another old love of mine. I will keep playing this until another Battlefield can convince me to do otherwise.

Dungeon Siege 1 - Another game I recently picked up after letting it collect dust for years. Cruising through it on Easy mode. Just want to finish the game.

Diablo 2 - Over LAN with a friend every now and then. Assassin rules!

Well, right now I'm only playing with my PSP... or replaying, for instance.

    - Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

I'm pretty much stuck, however... but at least this is on hard mode, after having an absolutely complete run in normal. (And by absolutely complete I mean I got all 5 fanclubs, 3 flower wagons, 4 genji equipment, 300 missions, etc...)

    - Burnout Legends

I lost my pretty much complete save file, and had an older one on my other mem stick, so I decided to resume from there =S

    - God of War: Chains of Olympus

I pretty much remembered I had this, xD

    - Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions

    same as above, xD

And that's pretty much it... I cba to play anything else right now... or, rather, I "don't have time" for that... since I'm into so many things right now... and state exams and th SAT and college seeking and other stuff don't help much.

I'm playing Devil Summoner 2 that I got on Friday, and I gotta tell you, I'm enjoying this game a whole lot. I only played Persona 3 and 4 of the SMT games, and I've heard enough criticism from die hard fans that Persona shouldn't be considered part of the SMT series, so I figure I'd give this game a shot, and it's really kewl.

It's takes place in the Taisho era of Japan, so there's retro charm all over the place. You have to solve mysteries along with kicking the occasional demon ass-or you can try to win them over to your side and such. It's really an interesting game play.

I'm a little disappointed at the lack of voice actors, but the graphics are wonderful, you can see the facial expressions rather well so you have an idea of the emotion conveyed in the dialog. Also lovin' the music, and I heard the normal battle theme of this game was the last game's boss battle theme ^^

And when I got my first game over, it was so unbelievably dramatic xD

    For me?

Resident Evil 5 -- I've gotten 1000/1000 of the original achievements, and now I'm just playing for the hell of it.

Call of Duty 4 -- Awesome multiplayer. Nothing more to say.

    Halo 3 -- Don't judge me.

Right now I am only playing Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness on the DS. Played the one on GBA a while back, and the one on SNES before that. I dunno why but I love them so much! This newest one that I have redid all of the mechanics, now you can kill crops by watering too much and they added in a certain ammount of sunlight each plant needs. It works well though, if you have a cheatsheet like me lol.

If I get bored or find myself wanting something else to do, I'm almost done with FFX and once I complete that, I have FFX2 lol. Got Harvest Moon and forgot all about the ol' PS2 >_<

I'm playing SMT: Devil Survivor for the DS and struggling through SMT: Nocturne for the PS2 when I have time to play it.

I've heard Nocturne being praised for years now, so when I saw it I bought it with little thought. It's definitely not like most JRPGs I've played, but it's fun...And hard. Really hard >_>

Devil Survivor so far is pretty fun. Not as easy as I first thought, but still very kewl to play. A couple of themes I've seen in other anime/mangas/games before, but whatever. It's still a fun premise and the story is intreresting. My only gripe so far is that lack of stylus use.

well I have been trying to beat this old game but I can't seem to beat the champagine it's too much xD

StarCraft and StarCraft Brood War (expansion) So since I can't beat it I just play online on BattleNet but meh maybe one day i'll beat it.

Another game I am also playing is Fall Out 3 I am at a part in the game that is very sad.

You return to Vault 101 after your friend sends you out a distress signal that the overseer has gone mad with power so you return and help them out you can kill or persade the overseer into stoping what he is doing. After you do your childhood friend become the new overseer and she say's "The way things are going I think it is best if you leave Vault 101 forever we need to make slow steps and you being here will just harm the process I'm sorry goodbye I'll never forget you" Or something along those lines

This put a tear in my eye
