Right, so I caught the Sony E3 conference tonight, and found out about some interesting things.

---

The PSP successor known thus far as the NGP (New Generation Portable) has officially been named "PlayStation Vita". Vita was mentioned to mean Life, so there's that.

There will be two models available this winter. The Wi-Fi model, and the Wi-Fi+3G model (and Sony has explained for the U.S.A., it will partner with AT&T on the 3G side of things).

The Wi-Fi only model will start at 249.99, and the Wi-fi+3G model will be 299.99

---

Next, Sony has made a 3D TV bundle. It will come with a 24" 3D t.v., a pair of 3D glasses, HDMI cable, a copy of Resistance 3 for the PS3, all for 499.99.

The 3D glasses themselves will be retailing at 69.99, and it seems it may be worth getting the extra pair if you buy the 3D tv bundle if you play co-op with a friend next to you.

---

On the topic of Resistance 3, the game will be made available in a bundle and will come with a PlayStation Move motion controller, navigation controller, PlayStation Eye, and PlayStation Move sharp shooter, for 149.99.

---

During the conference when they showcased a Star Trek game, they confirmed a "phaser" peripheral will be made available as well, so you trekkies should be pleased xD
