    Do you import games?

So recently I've begun importing games outside my area and I was just wondering if others practiced this as well.

While some systems are still region locked, a few notable systems like the PSP, PS3 and DS Lite have no issues playing with different region hardware games.

In all honestly, I like lil' bonuses and am a sucker for collector's edition. At the same time, I actually wanna play and understand the games I'm buying, so as tempting as it is to just get a whole lot of Japanese games, I don't.

But games from the UK are a different matter =D

While most games do end up both in UK and here in North America, I find a lot of UK games have special editions that can't be find in NA. Especially Square-Enix games.

    Thus far I've:

    • grabbed Tactics Ogre: Premium Edition
    • ordered Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy: Legacy Edition and The 3rd Birthday: Twisted Edition
    • and plan to order Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection: Collector's Edition

Plus just taking a gander at some prices, I find some games are considerably cheaper via importing than buying at retail O.O

Along with importing, how about making a different region PSN account? I now have a NA and UK account now (especially since those special UK editions came with game vouchers for PSN). Anybody else?
Hi, sorry about my lacking presence at RSF. I got busy with my off-line life, and though it's settled a bit, there's not much to do here without people posting (which is kind of my fault >.<)

If you do wanna make contact, here are some ways:

    Re: Do you import games?

I don't import games. A lot of people made Japanese PSN accounts to use ad-hoc party, which I would do but ad-hoc party has already been released over here so there's not really a point.

I did burn a few Jap games for my dreamcast while it was still working, mostly fighting games and other games where understanding the text didn't matter much.
