was reading a post on the escapist forum and all that, which was discussing the dragon age 2 demo being removed from gamestop employees due to a security issue.
and as i was reading it, i saw that someone had been suspended for a post in there.
so i did some looking and found what post got them in trouble (thankfully it told me directly through the same post that it was the cause)
and it turns out that this person got suspended for 30 days from the site, for saying this
"The more I see of this game, the more it looks like a dumbed down, over the top action game. Even the visuals are leaning towards the Asian roleplaying game's signature oversized equipment and cartoonish art. The levels are (more) linear and the focus has shifted entirely to an action adventure style experience.
Can't blame them though, wanting to make money and deciding to focus on the 360 - thus making it for a... simpler demographic."
<edit> http://www.escapistmagazine.com/foru...gon-Age-2-Demo the thread, if you care to see it for yourself. </edit>
I hate to say it, but....why the hell were they suspended? they put in a negative opinion, yes, but that is the way they think.
i went through that thread and saw what their other posts were, and besides a response to someone asking "Hows life in that little buble with your high horse" they responded in a perfectly organized manner.
am i wrong to feel like that is insanely unfair to this person?
