    Dragon Age II

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is highly anticipating the release of this game! I played the demo and loved it, and I'm really excited to get my hands on the game.

So, any other Dragon Age fans out there?

    Yes ma'am!

I actually replayed Origins with a pretty legit Mage, now I'm just wrapping up the DLCs so I can import it all into DA2. The demo was good but, the gameplay felt too hack and slash-ish to me. Everything else is amazing though, especially the mass effect wheel and the character models.

    Re: Dragon Age II

I loved the first game! I was meaning to get the demo but so far I haven't. I should at least try it to see what it feels like. I may get it later though, I need to be careful not to spend too much money as I won't have any income soon for a so far unknown amount of time. I'm definitely interested in this game, however there are a few things that worry me:

    -no multiple races/beginnings
I want to be able to build my own character and make up most of my own story. While I appreciate that a game can be made more cinematic and awesomesauce when it has all been pre-designed with just one option to take, and creating ENTIRELY different stories for all these different races and genders would be way too much work for one game, I'm still disappointed that it's not more like Origins in that regard.

    -No separate pieces of clothing/armour
Call mea pimp or a queer, but I want to accessorise my own shit and I want to combine stuff myself by using these gloves, this body armour, that helmet... And from what I've seen, now it's just basically 'here's a set of armour, get it on and don't fucking whine' which I'm not sure I like. However, this may be completely inconsequential. I would have to play the demo to see if it makes a difference to how I play the game.

I'm probably still going to get it if only to taste the gritty fantasy atmosphere again. After all, that's pretty much always good And it does promise to be a very sweet-looking game indeed!
