[ATLUS] Devil Survivor Overclock for Nintendo 3DS

If you guys remember, a tentative listing of 3DS games floated around the time of the system's reveal, and a fickle title called "Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor" was listed among them. Well we now we get a confirmation on it.

Devil Survivor Overclock will be making it's way to the 3DS sometime in 2011 for lucky Japan. Famitsu claims the game is already 90% done, so it may actually debut when the actual system starts to go on sale (speculated to be around March).

Now before you go hooping or theorizing where this game will take place in the story, it's fair to tell you all that Overclock is actually a remake of the original DS title >.<

I guess that explains how a another Devil Survivor game showed up so quickly, given the DS game only came out in 2009. But nonetheless, there are some notable additions to this 3DS version:

• Addition of 8th day
• 150+ demons, up from the DS' original 130
• Fully voiced dialog
• New maps
• New difficulty setting
• Over-all better interface and 3D enhancements ("popping up demons" O.o)

Whether this game will make outside Japan is yet to be seen, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

I don't see why it wouldn't make it out the U.S.

I'm not so excited for a remake, but Devil survivor was a pretty fun game. If you didn't play it on the DS, I'd recommend checking this one out.
