I've never actually tried Spotted Dick, but I can imagine what it tastes like. Pretty much every British idea of a pudding contains dried fruits and some kind of sponge.

Nah, it wasn't advertised here, there was some sort of mini documentary about 6 most memorable advertisements of all time or something, and that ad was one of them.
