    Persona 3 Portable

Is anyone else playing this game?!

Honest to god, I bought it to play as the female male character, but there's so much extra stuff packed into the game. S.Links with both the male and female SEES members, a few character outcomes can change, and this game just keeps reminding why I love my PSP so much. The quality of this PSP game based off the PS2 version is *astounding*

Yeah, I bought P3 for the third time, but the game does not disappoint.
Hi, sorry about my lacking presence at RSF. I got busy with my off-line life, and though it's settled a bit, there's not much to do here without people posting (which is kind of my fault >.<)

Only my second time buying P3, but seriously, this game is amazingly awesome. The end of Hidetoshi's S Link is so cute! When he tells Minako he find her attractive, lol! If only that could happen with Male MC...*sigh* I am kinda dissapointed that Theo isn't available for Male MC. His dates are just adorable. But the best character in the game has to be Saori. She's just so realistic...I hope P5 has great Social Links like her.

I haven't played the game as much as I could've have, but I'm looking forward to doing Akihiko, Shinji and Ryoji's S.Links ^^

And yeah, Theo is soooooooooo cute, omg xD

EDIT: I hate when people double post in discussion threads, so that's why I edited my last post ;D

So I'm near the end of my first playthrough. I got up to January 1st, so my decision at the climax of the game was obvious (although I kind of wanted to what it was like to end "Death's" existence as the FMC).

Let's see...Shinji's S.Link was sooooo sweet. Definitely gave him so much more substance than what he originally had in the first 2 versions of the game.

Ryoji's was chock full of foreshadowing. Anyone new to P3 probably wouldn't understand what was going on in his S.Link, but it was sweet as well, tinged with some bitterness.

For those two, as soon as you start them, you have to take every opportunity presented to hang out with them. Fore go Tartarus, studying, other S.Links and just focus on these guys whenever you can.

    And still working on Akihiko

One thing that kind of made me snort was while the FMC does have romantic endings with some of the male S.Links, the MC still has more romantic opportunities in general with girls than the FMC has with boys. I mean, Atlus took the time to tweak a few of the Male S.Links in the FMC POV to show that the dudes were interested in her, but then don't give you the option to bring the relationship to another level and a chance to push them onto her bed? >_>

Also, looks like there's a new dungeon of sorts in P3P. I dunno if this is a FMC only thing, or is available in both POVs. I didn't beat P3:FES, but it seems similar to that place in "The Answer".

And again, there's so much extra little things in P3P. Alternate costumes for guys and girls for one, and these new missing people you gotta find.

I'm about 60 hours in my first play through, but there's still some more stuff I could do before ending it ;D

    Re: Persona 3 Portable

Ryvius and I pre-ordered this and got Junpei hats!!! He got me into Persona when we met. I normally hate games like this but I absolutely love it. I didn't get to finish FES before playing this and I'm not very far but I definitely like the improvements such as battle. I like to control my team. Also, the part-time job thing is nice. I'm playing as male first. I can't wait to do FMC though!

    Re: Persona 3 Portable

That you can have S.Links with all your party members in the FMC version just trumps it for me compared to the MC version I already loved.

Still going through that optional battle challenge....thingy. I don't know when Monad get's unlocked, but I'm still at January 1st *shrugs*

EDIT: Okay, looked around online. Monad get's unlocked by either beating the reaper and getting to the top of Tartarus, or waiting until New Game+

I absolutely love this game!! I found out about it from my friend Nick and have been playing it none stop. I have to admit that Akihiko is one of my favorite characters. The story line is awesome and the graphics make me never want to put down my psp. I find it hard to turn away from this game, which never really happens for me.
It's painful, the pain has already broken the illusion of our hopes and dreams
On the line between reality and ideals
It hurts, the pain has already brought to mind traces from the corners of our hearts
Of the reality we took on on that day
