Here's the deal. Every thread you start is one point. Every 10 posts a thread started by you gets is another point. To count for points, it has to be in a section where posts count.

Also, if you refer another member who gets at least 15 posts you can get an automatic 3 points. (but you should probably send me a pm notifying me to make sure I notice.)
