Whose interested in making SOTW entries?

I'd like to know who on this site actually cares about doing GFX. Just going by the SOTW, there are people who are fine with voting for the competition, but barely anyone has any interest in making anything for SOTW. Despite giving deadlines, most people are fine with just giving their entries at their own convenience and only because there aren't enough entries in the first place do I have to accept it.

So just tell me now, should I even bother with this competition anymore? I know I'm coming off rather snarky, but this is the current state of SOTW. A system that relies on people, and I can only do so much on my own.

I'd like to participate more in SOTW, but perhaps we should make it a monthly thing until activity picks up? We've got a few new members who are very good with graphics, such as Vutha and Ryuga, so I think there's still hope for the competition.

What I'd recommend is let some of those who wish to participate, suggest some of the themes they'd like to see, and then change it from SOTW to SOTM for a monthly contest.

I would also love to continue doing the SOTW competitions. I enjoy doing them, but I will own up to not being on RSF as much as I should as well as not finding the inspiration for every theme that comes up.

I also agree with Kendra on her input. It's a great activity and I do agree that with more people will be better turn outs. But, I support any decision made, surely. =]

For the record, I didn't mean that snarky comment I gave harshly or anything, I was just having a bit of fun... I hope you didn't take it the wrong way.

Personally, I like this contest. But the thing is, I have way too many creative hobbies, and lately I can't seem to get into sig-making that well. At the same time, with college and all, i'm not really having much time to make a sig. All in all, it's less that I send them in at my own pace... it's just that I often don't have the time to, and if the contest still hasn't started up, I usually try and make some time for it.

Again, i'm really sorry if my comment sounded harsh. I didn't mean it that way at all, really!

I would enter but my while I'm the talented pen and pencil artisits if I do day so myself. I am not good with GFX

Personally i like the SOTW, i just wasnt really into the Food one, and lately i've been held up with my friends and my family being in town after graduation. I rather like the Open admissions, it leaves alot of room for creativity.

also, i was planning on making one for a Beta i've been testing that has a challenge going on.

I'm always interested in making SOTW entries, but not always able to. Sometimes I lack time, and sometimes I lack inspiration. At the moment, I lack both time, inspiration AND (also very important) Photoshop.

Well, I'm not very good, and it takes way too much time to make these sigs just for me to have no chance.
That's why I haven't entered in forever.
I think Kendra's idea of SOTM is a good idea.
