Well its more like a trailer made to "pitch" the idea to some producers...I really should look for the article that explains it.

Yeah, I saw that yesterday when I was watching Attack of the Show on G4TV.

IT LOOKS SO FUCKING -accent- BAD AZZ! Though, Reptile's intro was a bit disturbing and creepy.

Looks like MK is taking the right step back to their roots.

A lot of blood and a lot of ass kicking and FATALITIES!

It is not a trailer. It is a short created by a director for the purpose of attracting the attention of Warner Bros. so a remake would be possible in the future. So far Warner Bros. have made no official response to the short, and at the moment the rights to a remake are hot with legal issues and court cases, so a new Mortal Kombat movie looks a very long way away.

If you want to know more, check out the IMDB page for it, but pay no attention to the supposed 2013 release date. Highly unlikely.

This was a clip filmed with the intent of pitching the idea to the heads of WB to see if they make the film.

But it's in current disputes with the old license holders or something...

They seem like they really enjoy killing off Johnny Cage. First getting his neck snapped right at the beginning of the second movie, and then getting his head sliced off by Baraka here. lol
