    Satoshi Kon

...Y'know, I don't think anyone has actually made a thread revolving around a single director before.

That said, he's basically the biggest name director in all of anime, and if anyone deserves a thread to himself it's him. Responsible for the mindfuck brilliance of Paranoia Agent and Perfect Blue, the serene beauty of Millennium Actress, and was one of the three directors behind the triple-threat feature Memories to name just a few of his achievements, the man is a genius.

    Discuss.

Well, you're the one that strove for an absolute.
    And you're absolutely wrong. xD

It's not that I don't like Ghibli. I just don't count them much in the same way I don't count Pokemon or Dragonball Z in these sorts of things.

And yes, I am aware that this makes absolutely no logical sense.

I'm glad we agree. That it makes no sense.

This argument over, what I've seen of Paranoia Agent is great and I want to see Perfect Blue. Like, a lot.

I just watched Paprika. I think it may be my new favourite Kon film.

Also, Inception completely ripped this off.

Do you keep saying that to try and convince yourself?

No. I keep saying this so I can discuss it on multiple forums. :/

Alright, fine. But in my defense, you've said it twice here.
