This started out as me wanting to establish a Borderlands RP. You can still see a few similarities.

Plot
When the Gaia Corporation discovered wildly advanced alien technology on the planet of Orpheus, the possibilities were deemed limitless. Reverse engineering the discovered technology meant that Gaia was able to establish itself as the foremost weapons manufacturer. After the success of Gaia, many other Corporations were founded and set about looking for their own slice of the pie, but no haul was ever to be as significant as the one found by Gaia.

Decades have passed since the original discovery, and now Orpheus has found itself home to a war between the three remaining Corporations: Gaia, Chronos and Nyx.

With convicts and bandits being bought, and the genetical engineering of wild animals, each Corporation has managed to accumulate its own private military company. But Gaia now has huge plans for Orpheus...



Factions
(I) Gaia Corporation
The distinctive colour of Gaia is red. Gaia is the foremost manufacturer of weapons. Gaia also manufactures armor and transport. The pride of Gaia Corporation is the elite special forces unit Crimson Cross.

(II) Chronos Corporation
The distinctive colour of Chronos is blue. Chronos is the foremost manufacturer of armor. Chronos also manufactures weapons and transport. The pride of Chronos Corporation is their impenetrable fortress and main headquarters Knoxford.

(III) Nyx Corporation
The distinctive colour of Nyx is green. Nyx is the foremost manufacturer of transport. Nyx also manufactures weapons and armor. The pride of Nyx Corporation is their revolutionary fleet of skyships called the Kleutz Skyfleet.

(IV) Rebels
Rebels aren't rare. Almost every city, town and village in Orpheus plays host to at least one underground resistance group, but you'd never know they were there. They work completely undercover and procure weapons, armour and transport by conducting raids on Corporations. Corporations are always seeking out and destroying such groups but they are becoming harder and harder to find. As such the Corporations have started to resort to propaganda, labelling all those who resist as Rebels and urging all citizens of Orpheus to report rebellious behaviour, even if the behaviour is exhibited by a loved one, stating that Rebels are systematically evil and present a threat to the preservation and welfare of Orpheus and its citizens.

Endo is a stocky and pale man around 5 feet 11 inches tall. Endo has medium length blonde hair and blue eyes. Endo is always seen wearing his trademark blue bandana that covers his whole head, but fails to completely contain his blonde locks.

Endo wears a tatty old Chronos Corporation outfit and large black boots with steel toe caps. Endo stole the uniform from and old Engineer's house while he was sleeping. Endo has customised the uniform by cutting off the sleeves and insignias and dying the whole thing grey.

Weapons
Endo carries a Mk. IV Thumper SMG manufactured by Nyx at his right hip. This green sub-machine gun is fully automatic and carries 26 rounds per clip. It is in great condition despite being a slightly older model. Endo keeps it in full working order by polishing and servicing it every time he settles. It is the first weapon that Endo ever pilfered from an enemy Corporation. Endo also carries a large combat knife sheathed at his right calf.

History
Endo was raised in an orphanage on the southern coast of Orpheus. He learned at an early age how to look after himself and keep his head down. At the age of fifteen Endo fled the orphanage and was homeless for a many years. He lived hand to mouth and slept at night on the softest piece of ground he could find, whatever the weather.

At the age of twenty Endo stumbled upon the entrance to an underground resistance group, and he quickly accepted their ways and effortlessly became notable amongst their ranks. His quest searching for a family was finally over, and now he savours every day as if it were his last.

It does look great though and a Borderlandsesque RP should be awesome by definition.
