Hello Bloodbane, welcome to our RP. I like the bio a lot. Really detailed ^^

I kind of want to argue about the reason for Aumanil and Siren fusing though. So far in the RP, GF fusions to people have either been because GFs couldn't sustain their bodies in the mortal relm anymore and needed to fuse to a host body to live, or they were forcibly fused via experimentation. If Siren wanted to go along with Aumanil, couldn't she just be junctioned normally?

Also, why did Aumanil leave Trabia after the destruction? There were survivors, so why didn't he just stay with them? Does it have to do with his desire to be alone than with others?

Hehe that's fine, constructive criticism is always welcome :P

As for Aumanil and Sirens fusing, if Siren hadn't fused with Aumanil then he would have died so normal junctioning would have been pointless anyway.
As for Sirens reasons for offering to to fuse with him, well that's a combination of not being able to sustain her body enough to move around (so she's stuck in the barren wastes of northern Trabia) as well as a connection she feels with Aumanil, a connection that I will expand on in future posts
Aumanils reason should be fairly clear, not wanting to die is one part and the rest is because he needed a new purpose now that his revenge had been taken.

In regards to Aumanil leaving Trabia after its destruction it is in part because he's an introvert but also because there was no more he could really do for the survivors, also because according to the timeline repairs on Trabia Garden don't start until 2 years before this RP (when Aumanil is 41) so before that i assumed that any survivors would either have dispersed or gone to other gardens anyway.

Edited a little bit to try and make it clearer why Siren chose to fuse with him.

I'll definitely keep that in mind. Are there any large monsters in the area we could run into? Could make for some fun. Otherwise, I don't think we've done any fighting so far this time around.

Depends on whether we move on foot or by train. I think Raydune has given Thomas some spending room but of course 2 train tickets are more expensive than 1.

I remember near the prison on Galbadia in the beginning of Disc 2, there was this huge-ass worm monster. But it wasn't very hard (what with FFVIII's leveling system), just...really big and scary looking xD

I might make some random filler post with my "standby" characters, but I can wait for you guys, no worries ^^

Also, don't worry and go ahead with your filler post Mel. If you want, there's always Tamara to interact with (although I wouldn't know why you'd do that ).

I didn't really do anything special with Lucy, I mainly used her to describe the Galbadian aircraft arriving. BTW, this aircraft is of Galbadia Garden. I think the Galbadian president would arrive by ship (some kind of small warship seems appropriate; the GP-S (Galbadian Presidential Ship) Deling or something ) Also did some interacting with Xanther. Xanther might become more interesting later on, but right now he's just a guy.

Didn't do much with Damien either, just showing his opinion about FH and some hints about his intentions but nothing too revealing I think.

Take this idea for a sping though; we could just skip the whole actual meetings, or even the whole night. We could immediately skip to the next day and look back at a failed meeting, after which we can merrily continue on our way to rescue Anita.

It's actually not that bad, we're not waiting for a whole political meeting here, so I'm sure we could do without it and just skip ahead.

So you guys sure you wanna skip the meeting? I feel bad if you're skipping potential character intros and plot just for me D=

But I can do as Aleister suggests and start my post with Alaster all face-palm at how badly things went, post-meeting.

Of course, in what say did the meeting go bad? I figure we should agree on something that happened, right?

I guess there was just no headway, AT ALL. Galbadia (Garden and Deling) keep denying any involvement in the situation, and instead claim that it is a plot by Eshtar (Garden and City) to discredit Galbadia and justify an attack. Trying to find support with the other Gardens and cities/states will be hard/impossible because they're noncommittal about the whole thing; they don't want to accidentally antagonise a big player and suddenly find themselves in trouble. (Note, there may also be an allegation that Eshtar killed the 'Galbadian emmisary of peace' [to wit: Akira])

Simply pulling out of the whole thing is not an option because 1: there's still the threat of a Galbadian attack and 2: it will actually seem as if Eshtar abandons their 'attempt to discredit Galbadia', which will support Galbadia's claim. Then there's still the matter of GF-fusing which also needs clearing up but no one wants to talk about it.


So basically what happened is 'nothing'. There's been no progress whatsoever. If anything, there is now more tension than there was before. I assume Alaster just wants the whole thing to blow over but the way it's going now, tension is only mounting.

I must announce the following: I am not dropping from the RP. I apologize for the lack of posting, and I know I've said I'd post several times and have yet to actually give results. I've only been on RSF for about 5 minutes a day as of late- just long enough to post meme-related things (Oh yah!). I am sorry, Michel, that I've held up Thomas as I have. I will make a drastic effort to get the post up by tonight (about six hours from now) but we've been very busy lately because Lassie is moving in with Tera and I today, so we've had to make room for her. After posting this, I'll work on my post, but I don't know how much time I'll have. Which is why I said tonight, and not in an hour. Wish me luck.
