Since my Grand Parents Served In WWII I have a fond interest in WWII and i decided to make an RP about it.

Story Line
It is two days into the war and the Germans keep progressing through out the world into there quest of domination.

I would like to hear some more details about the storyline. Europe is pretty big, and if we are all going to be in another country, it's going to be pretty hard to interact. So is there a country the RP focusses on? Also, is it possible to play someone who is not in the army?

Is the RP going to be battle-driven or story-driven?

I'm very interested in WWII, I have tons of books about it. I'd be interested in joining this RP as well if I get more info and a better idea of what the RP's parameters are.

its generally where Germany attacked how the Americans and Canadians came to help Europe at its final stages in the war but It can be pritty board but thats why its better if ur on Russia Germany Poland ect all the people who were more gneraly in the war than the others
and yes you can be someone not in the Army like a rebal group underground or w/e comes into ur head

Two days into the war, so when they were pushing into Poland, yes? This means that most of western Europe was still effectively out of the war, and apart fropm the battles in Poland, not much else was happening at that time.

Also, do we follow the history books or is history free to be altered? I'm not talking ground-breaking stuff here but could England for example have shipped troops sooner, or can Poland hold out for longer than they did originally? Or is it that we use the actual history as reference and play exactly to what happened, putting our characters to a background of actual history?

it can be to your choice as it's not based anything like the history or the game COD2 witch took place during the war
so it can be free to alter in a way we all see fit and we can also follow the actuall background to where the Germans progressed

There may be some touchy subjects concerning holocaust-related occurrences. I'm not one to advocate poitical correctness, but in anything that touches on the subject of WWII, it is very hard to ignore laden concepts just as these.

I generally don't like restrictions, but I would like to know this RP's policy concerning subjects such as these.

if u want your part of the story 2 have restrictions in 1 part and the next none its fine its just creativity that counts

Well, as I am very interested in the time frame and am not participating in an RP at the moment you could consider me in.

I will see if I have time to create a plausible character tomorrow.
