Did I ever resist offing myself before I discovered ska? Shit's amazing. True story.

Ha ha. Well, Maxie-boy, I also enjoy ska. Goldfinger is quite good.
Although I lean more towards ska-punk than straight ska.
I hear ya. Streetlight Manifesto is one of my personal favorite bands.
My my, Mr. Galactica, I never really pegged you as one of us.
However, I'm glad you enjoy it. Try the (early) Suicide Machines for awesome ska-punk and THEN try I Voted For Kodos for some awesomness AND THEN try (early) Less Than Jake AND THEN TRY (early) Pietasters AND ALSO TRY The Specials AND ALSO Skankin Pickle (if you can find it) AND ALSO TRY Oreskaband (if you like Japanese music...) AND ALSO TRY Ska-P (if you know Spanish or just don't mind language barriers) AND ALSO TRY Mu330 AND ALSO TRY The Aggrolites (if your more into Toots and the Maytals and Desmond Dekker, which brings me to) AND ALSO TRY Toots and the Maytals (big second-wave influence, original skinheads love 'em) AND ALSO TRY The Aquabats (if you love yourself).
I'll be editing this as I remember good ones.

Skacore, you say?
Then try Leftover Crack, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and the Flaming Tsunamis.
I'm more of a strictly-ska guy. If I want angry music, I listen to the Berzerker.
I come from Milton Keynes. Musically, we're known for Ska and little else.
Ska, you say? I really think that some of the genre is pretty decent. I was introduced to it through a friend, and a song on DDR just happened to be Ska.
It's always Little Bitch that get's the nerds.

Ska + Punk = <3
If you had Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, you know all about it.
Save Ferris and Dance Hall Crashers are two of my favorite ska bands. Which, I think, is weird since they both have female vocals, and I've never been big on female vocals. Also, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are fucking wonderful. Bought one of their cds and a metal show. Don't know why they had ska cds at a metal show, but I was stoked.
Oh damn, I forgot all about the Dance Hall Crashers!
They're pretty good, as I recall from the days where all I listened to was internet ska radio stations that played the same handful of songs all day, everyday.
