    Are you an angry gamer?

If so, you're gonna love this game.

    BORKED

This is GNILLEY, the game that requires you to be angry.

Shown recently at the Global Game Jam Sydney 2010, this game took the festival's Most Original award, and rather deservedly so.

It starts off like the original Legend of Zelda NES game, but quickly turns into something hilarious. In stead of attacking your enemies with a sword, you simply scream down the mic and the angrier you are the quicker they die. But this isn't reserved only for tough enemies. If you're a Zelda fan then you'll be MORE than aware that the games have INFURIATING puzzles, too. Not a problem with this game, most of the time you just shout at a certain pitch to solve puzzles and progress onwards.

Surely this game provides heaps of fun for angry gamers, as well as an awesome outlet for anger. Plus it's awesome and hilarious.

This is simply awesome. I actually can't wait for it to come out, man. Seriously. I would have tons of fun playing this game.

I can see the commercial for this.

What a cool idea. I can imagine some parents getting driven nuts by it, but at the same time, I think most would appreciate that it would help tire out their children. xD I wish this was for a mainstream system, so I could get it for my brother. He'd absolutely love this game.

LOL Bottomline, Doaj, I don't think this would go over well with parents. Like, the moment they heard about it they'd nix the whole idea of purchasing it. I know I sure as fuck would.

It's something that I think adults will make the most out of, to be honest. I'm sure there will be some parents out there who'll buy it for their kids, but I'm sure it'll definitely be within a party setting. A game to show company and get a good laugh.

I see more of our demographic making the most out of this thing. LOL

If my kid would start screaming to his/her video game, I'd go and really give them something to scream about. No such thing is going to happen in my house, no sir!

This would be amazing! I think it's high time we got some more innovation in this industry. Although I can see parents getting infuriated by it.

It'd be fun for parents that are like us to play with their kids though. Just make it a family fun night game...

What get angry night? Hardly a great example to set for your kids. Anyway this game would be a piece of cake for those spoilt brats that scream because they dont get their own way.

I don't think she meant "Get angry night". The guy in the video clearly wasn't angry. More of a "We're all having fun and doing something the little kids like" night. Clearly you won't be invited. lolol.

I think I'd prefer the Legend of Zelda romhacks anyway.

You my friend are like a cavity search by a Ex-SAS customs officer...uncaring and strangely sadistic.

Thank you sir! You're a great judge of character. Plus, sadistic personality disorder isn't a disorder anymore, so there's nothing wrong with me.

On a more-related note, TIGSource (The Indie Gaming Source) did a little shout-out on it here: http://tigsource.com/articles/2010/01/31/gnilley
Sucks that it currently has some sort of problem with 64-bit OS's, as that I means I can't scream until my throat bleeds.
