    Toy Story 3

I dunno how to feel about this. I think I might have outgrown this movie and won't enjoy it as I'd like to, but I still kind of want to see it...

How do you guys feel about this movie? Gonna see it, or was it 10 years too late?
Hi, sorry about my lacking presence at RSF. I got busy with my off-line life, and though it's settled a bit, there's not much to do here without people posting (which is kind of my fault >.<)

If you do wanna make contact, here are some ways:

    Pixar movies kick ass. Regardless.

I am 19 now, so do the math as to when the first one came out.
That said, there is no way I would miss seeing this or the first two in 3D for the world.
Fun fact: I shed real tears when I saw that trailer in theaters. Right there in public!

That's hardcore, Daft. I think the premise is very interesting, and so long as the toys look the same, and sound the same, then I think it's fine. Even if it's a good movie, it needs to be that one could watch all three in a row and not feel like there was obviously some changes behind the scenes. I think that's important in a children's movie, because kids love to watch movies over and over, especially when there are several. At least, I did, and my three siblings did.

I hope it's good. I want to watch it, but I'm afraid I may have outgrown it. If it's as good as the first two though, then I haven't.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. I am a huge fan of Pixar. When Ryvius and I saw the trailer we both said that we really wanted to see it. I am 18 and I don't think i'm too old to watch movies geared towards children.

I'll probably end up seeing this the day it comes out. Given the trend Pixar is taking, I'm guessing this movie will probably be geared mostly towards those of us who grew up with the original toy story. I wouldn't assume it'd be a great movie for your kids. I'm expecting a surprising amount of adult concepts, and a whole lot of sad.

I didn't like the first 2 as a child, but I'm looking forward to the 3rd one. They always just upset me and my mother had a huge crush on Woody, so... yeah.

Oh, Mr. Werewolf, you're so cute! Why is your mouth so big? Why, in order to put my explosives in it!

You know, Pixar is known for never doing sequels – with the exception of Toy Story, of course. And both of the Toy Story films, I think, were really good. I can pretty much trust anything that Pixar does won't be absolute crap, so I have some faith in this third entry.

What they NEED to make a sequel for is The Incredibles!

Well, they're already doing Cars 2. Although I would love an Incredibles sequel!

Anyway, I can't wait to see this!

Hmmm the production values and casting looks ok but I feel the premise seems abit strained and the formula is tired and worn out. If they are going to do a 3rd Toy Story film I think they really need to come up with a better story and premise than this. Otherwise we are just gonna get treated to more of the same and it's gonna be a let down.
    HE WILL BE MISSED...

I really think the Spanish Buzz aspect is gonna be good.

It seems abit too puss in boots for me...plus if they hit his reset switch why would he be Spanish? Wouldn't he just revert to his righteous Toy Story 1 persona?

Nothing wrong with Puss In Boots.

And are you trying to apply logic to a movie about sentient toys?

  16. #16
True but it's been done already and VERY well too by Antonio "I'm a badass mofo" Banderas. Hey even in films about sentient toys there should be some logic applied!

My guess is probably that they were cheap spanish backrupt stock that was bought by an enterprising and sneaky american toy manufacturer. They then reprogrammed the toys in American before marketing them extensively as the next big thing and then dumping them in favour of newer fads.

Who's to say that isn't a plot twist?

Don't question movies before you see them lol

i don't think i've outgrown pixar movies. I'm super excited for this movie to come out, it's been forever since I've seen the other two though
It's painful, the pain has already broken the illusion of our hopes and dreams
On the line between reality and ideals
It hurts, the pain has already brought to mind traces from the corners of our hearts
Of the reality we took on on that day
