RPContest #5 - Guidelines

The RPContest

And we have come to our fifth RPContest, already! Times flies when you're having fun. If you are hesitating to join, hesitate no longer and just do it! Everyone can join!

Here are the guidelines for the second contest, get ready:

Theme: Team - Interaction
Word Limit: 4 posts, 1200 words total
Additional Rules: None
Deadline: Monday 11 January

What would an RP be without interaction between players? For this RPContest, you team up with someone else and create a short interaction of any kind (this can be dialogue, battle, or anything else). The interaction is to be 4 posts long and there is a word limit of 1200 words, which can be distributed among those 4 posts any which way. The recommended way to do this is through PM. When you are finished, either team member can send me the entry, obviously stating who he or she did it with.

Additional note: I am aware that the deadline is set right during the holidays. If it turns out to be too busy for everyone, I will postpone the deadline for a full two weeks to give everyone some more time. However, if I receive enough entries before the 28th, I will post it then.

I'll definitely enter, provided somebody wants to trash their chances of winning by partnering with me. Anyone wants to write something up with me, PM me. You can try to hit me up on messenger, but MSN doesn't want to work for me lately for some reason. I'll try to be on AIM instead.

Hrm... so, should we hold a mini-contest to see who gets to have me as a partner? Oh! I know! Whoever writes the most flattering accolades of my awesomeness wins the right to work with me, therein winning the RPC as a whole.

uhm...prof...I got this in the bag! Your greatness as an RPer can be measured by the distance from the earth to the sun. Your SUCH a great RPer that I strive only to become a better RPer so that when compared to your greatness I don't fall quite so short as only making it to the moon (I at least wish to make it to venus...).

If the limit is four posts, then would you be happy with less than that? I'm thinking two posts consisting of up to 600 words each. What say you?

Well... seeing as Recycled Human is the only one who CARED TO EVEN COMPETE, he wins the honor of partnering with me. Though I must say, if my victory weren't already assured, it sure is now. Holy crap, imagine the awesomeness that could be unleashed! This is certainly an RPC for the record books. Pay attention everyone. Y'all just may learn a little sumthin'.

Remember that if I get no entries, I will understand (what with it being the hols and everything) so if there is a lack of entries the deadline will be moved forward two weeks.

My internet problems have hurt me more than the holidays, but I'll try to get my half of the work done now since I seem to have a little time on my hands.

I have half of an entry done, Al. Did it a while ago when I got into a writing mood. I'm just gutted we couldn't have a higher character limit, tbh.

I think I have my half more or less planned out, it's just a matter of finding the time to sit down and write it. Christmas has gotten somewhat hectic for me. Too many families to try and please. When I do write it, I'll send it back to you and see what you think.
