Thanks to Harsh, I've decided to open up an Avatar/Signature Shop. I've been trying to improve my graphics skills, and this will serve as a perfect opportunity to accomplish this.

I still haven't found a style yet, which I think is a good thing. My avatars are following a similar format, but the signatures I'm trying to experiment more with. Hopefully some requests will help me improve further!

So originally, I was looking for a realistic picture to make an avatar and possible sig of my RP character Risa. But I discovered that while finding an image for a character you're just making might be easy, but finding one for a character that's already been used and developed can pose a challenge since you already have a certain image cemented in your head. While looking, I did find a cutesy anime style picture that I think'd be great for the young Risa being used in Bret's most recent set though. A bit busty for a 14 year old, considering adult Risa has a pretty flat chest but the expression is perfect. Anyways...

Avatar Size: I'm digging that 150 x 200 you've been doing. So let's do that.

Text: If you could just stick "Risa" somewhere on it that'd be great.
Anything Else?: Child Risa is blind, so the eyes need to be changed to white. Also, the fish skeleton on the tie should preferably not be there.

I probably should have asked about color scheme, but I experimented a little and came up with a few things. Hopefully one of them you like! If not, I'll play around more with the text and colors till I get it right. =)

I think this is the first time I've worked with an 'anime' stock. I hope the first try wasn't too bad, but I'm willing to remake it if necessary!

Haha, no problem! Just let me know if you want a different color scheme, or if you want it darker. =)

Oh man! This one was a serious challenge! I spent a while on the font, and no matter what I did, I just couldn't add font that complimented the picture. I hope it's still acceptable without it!

And I'll get you that signature ASAP, but I'm afraid I need to hit the sack for right now. I hope the avatar is okay!

Wow! Thank you very much! Its not how I wanted it exactly but that's what makes it so much better! You surprised me with this! I knew this request would be a little difficult because of the image and the style I wanted it in but you did a wonderful job! I cant wait for the signature! Thank you again!

Yay! I'm glad you like it! I tried to initially make it dark, but, I found a way to do the effect with the colors in place of the black, and I thought it looked really nice. xD

I'm glad it worked out! I'll be sure to get you the signature as soon as I can. Hopefully I'll be able to do the text this time.

Its beautiful! But if its not too much do you think you can make it match up with the avatar?
The pink bubbles are a wonderful idea but I was wondering if the background can stay dark? I just love the theme you made with the avatar! :P

Awesome, I'm glad it turned out well! I wanted to make them go together well, but a little different...so instead of the girl being colorful, I made her gray and the background colorful. xD I spent forever trying to get the colors tweaked correctly, but I'm happy to know it was all worthwhile.

Bumping this thread with my latest graphics. I made an avatar and signature set for ViktorValentine's RP character, Aeden:

This character is from a Dystopian setting, a place called 'Ash City,' so I wanted to give an 'elemental' effect of harsh conditions, and there's some destroyed buildings in the background of the signature. Hope they came out well!
