What's making you happy right now?

(I'm almost a little disappointed in myself for finding happiness in materialistic goods than anything else lately >_>)

What on earth for? I take pleasure out of buying new clothes that fit me well or getting a new game. I don't see how that is in any way wrong. As if we're only supposed to get happy about super-spiritual things.


Just celebrated Sinterklaas (a Dutch holiday that inspired Santa Claus) and got a pen set (really nifty pens too, black with silver in a stylish box), a scarf with a fishgrate motif and a chocolate letter M, which I will eat with pleasure when the time is right. Also, Christmas is right at our doorstep (yes, we celebrate both Sinterklaas AND its derivative! ) and I might get the Skyrim soundtrack, which would be totally sweet.

Our parking ticket wasn't revoked, but it was reduced by more than half of the original fine. That's a plus.

Then my speech today went better than expected, minus me blanking at the end. (fml.) The instructor really seemed to dig my idea. Got 90/100 on it. It's an A grade so I'm not complaining.

Also, the boyfriend got me some sweet stuff for Valentine's Day. Pretty good day.
