Favorite and Least Favorite Zelda Temple

First of all, should this be posted here or in the entertainment discussion thread? If it's the latter, I'll move it ASAP.

I know lots of people have played at least one game in the Legend of Zelda franchise and I was curious as to how many people despised the water temple in Ocarina of Time as much as I did. Now that temple, not only was it confusing, but in my opinion, the mini boss fight against Dark Link was harder than the actual boss! I was relieved when I finally beat that temple and could move onto the next. The constant raising the water level, then lowering it drove me crazy.

So tell about your least favorite Zelda temple and your favorite. My favorite has to be the Fire Temple from OoT due to the fact that the boss fight reminded me heavily of a wack a mole game

The Earth Temple in Wind Waker and Eagle Tower in Link's Awakening are my favorites.

My least favorite is the First Forsaken Fortress in Wind Waker.

note these are all OoT temples since that's the only Zelda game i've beaten.

Favorites: Great Deku Tree, Dodongo's Cavern, Forest Temple, Fire Temple, Shadow Temple

Least Favorites: Jabu-Jabu, the rest of the temples from the 7-year timeskip.

Fuck the Deku Tree. LOL when I first played it it was so annoying, man. Once I got the hang of the controls and everything (and got some more equipment) things became a little easier, but... man. That's my 12 year old mind speaking for me, though.

Most favorite temple has to be the Fire Temple. Bolero of Fire for the fucking win.

FUCKING water temple. I hated that shit.

I despise it as well, join the club lol.

My favorite one would probably be... forest temple. I just really liked the atmosphere of it, and the music.. it was creepy but cool.

For OoT:

I liked the Deku Tree and the Goron Cave. I absolutely HATED Jabbu Jabbu. That fish was soooo confusing! I kept picking the wrong hole to fall through in that big room!

I loved the design of the Shadow Temple, but I just couldn't get past that boss when I replayed it. I managed just fine the first time - don't know what happened.

Wood Temple: equally wonderful in design. I would have loved to amble through there in better times. I didn't like actually DOING it.

Fire Temple is epic, if only because of the Bolero of Fire.

I hated, HATED, HATED Hyrule Castle in EVERY incarnation.

Majora's Mask:

First off, while everyone always says OoT was better, I do think MM is underestimated. Its atmosphere is PHENOMENAL. The last night has epic music nad atmosphere.

Now I've got that off my chest: I don't like any of the MM temples. I used walkthrough to get through them as quickly as possibly. What I loved about MM were the sidequests, the search for the masks and all that. I love Clockwork Town and I adore all the race masks (it's wonderful to swim like a Zora!).

And every character has a soul, there's a story behind everyone. I daresay MM sucked me in more than OoT ever did. And the Skull Kid is awesome.

Dude, I am right there with you on Jabbu Jabbu. I mean, by the time I had reached him I was pretty used to having to discover just about every inch of the 3D landscape, so it wasn't IMPOSSIBLE, but it sure as hell was frustrating.

I despise every water temple I've come across in Zelda Games.

Mind you I've only played, OoT, Majora's Mask and Seasons and Time for the gameboy. But I still hate Water Temples. D<

I admit in Majora it was super fun to be a Zora and swim around and whatever. But those fishes in the temple were fucking freaky.

I didn't like the Shadow Temple.

As for Temples that I liked.
The Forest temple from OoT was fun, I mostly liked the music :]
The Spirit Temple. I love the Gerudos and the Mirror shield kicks ass.

For the other Temples, they were just time consuming, but still kinda fun nonetheless.

i only did it on Ocarina of Time. that said, the water temple in Twilight Princess is a bitch.

Water temple in Ocarina of Time can go straight to hell and die.

The water-y temple in Link to the past was fun though. Just because you got the hookshot, and the boss was tons of fun.

ahh! all of you people who havent played twilight princess, you absolutely need too! D: midnaaaaa ♥

as for my least favorite temples.. they would have to be ALL of the water temples. or dungeons. its ironic that element water is supposed to be calm and tranquil, but yet the water temples and dungeons are so frickin frustrating!! -_-;; it took me forever when i first played OoT's water temple. ugh. and i HATED the palace of twilight (even though it was a gorgeous design!) because of those creepy hands chasing you!! x_x

my favorite dungeon would have to be the spirit temple in OoT and the temple of time in TP. i love the egyptian/arabian theme and music in the spirit temple, and the gerudos were just. um.. hott. xD and then actually being able to explore the temple of time? that was just way too awesome!
