    So, yeah, M-Flo.
You got MC Verbal (Hat guy from the top vid), DJ Taku (the man on the platters), and whoever they "love". These guys are just too good for one language, so they can do TWO...kind of. Any one else out there like Meteorite Flow?

    I cannot be any clearer.
Take from this what you will, and please feel free to counter anything I have said with some opinions of your own. Which would strictly probably almost be an accepted algorithm essential to the construct and maintenance of a proper discussion.
    Just throwing that out there.

Is that the same Verbal from the Teriyaki Boyz?

Indeed, he's the same Funky Fresh President.
However, I prefer M-Flo to Teriyaki Boyz, just cause they were my first love.

Yeah, it's the same guy. I actually think the M-Flo might be the more respected rap group of the two, also. Even though M-Flo's music tends to be a tad more campier than the Teriyaki Boyz's.

Hey, if that's campy, camp is cool.
So, Teriyaki Boyz are considered more "serious"?

No. Not in the least. According to a lot of Hip Hop heads in Japan, the Teriyaki Boyz are clowns. They're looked at in the same light guys like Flo-Rida are looked at here in America. Yeah, it's fun to dance to, but who gives a shit otherwise. M-Flo's music is a bit more light hearted, and perhaps display the same level of "buffoonery," but they seem to be more the more "serious" group if you wanna go there.

All in all, the Teriyaki Boyz are practically walking BAPE adverts.

Oooh, the Soulja Boy Tell 'Em's of Japan.
I read you loud and clear.
In my opinion, while M-Flo does "rap", I think of them more as JUST pop music.
    Hip-pop, if you will.

xD Wow, those videos were rather interesting. I found Teriyaki Boyz to be oddly catchy, but mostly just that tune in Tokyo Drift. Now, I can't imagine that group being taken seriously because of some of the lyrics in their raps. xD Any group who uses 'lions, tigers, bears!' in a rap song...just lost a lot of their street cred, haha.

What's funny is that the guy who said that line (Verbal, I think) speaks perfect fucking english. He knew damn well that sounded remedial as hell.

Yeah that what i wonder. Who in that group speaks good english? I know WISE does. Oops I'm off topic. Sowwy!

I think that, while Verbal knows English, he believes that his Asian listeners don't and don't care. As such, he can say whatever kind of dumb shit he wants in English

(Your style's cheesy and gay, dakara it's chi-kama
I blanky jet through your city kyou wa satade-)

    (V-E-R-bizzle-a lizzle
    Collect dues like mandaginjiroo
For real-o, miro, ikken wa hyaku moji
Next time you see me, holla like you know me! )

(Let me take you on a ride kore wa zekkyou mashiin
    And release "do-do-do-dopamine!"
You nahmsayin'? Ore no itteru koto wakarimasu ka?
    Linguini pasta?)

Those are some prime examples of what I like to call M-WTFlo.

Point noted. LOL I know damn well that if it was the other way around, I'd give a damn about him talkin' about some "DESU NAN DESU KA DAIJOBU, UGHN!"

Sometimes I definitely think Verbal just says random words from the English language that sound cool. That, and latch on the absolute worst parts of American culture.

Despite having both Verbal and Wise, the latter of which is one of my favorite Asian artists, I'm not huge on the Teriyaki Boyz. I guess I'm like Shuya, in that I prefer the more "Hip-Hop" side of rap.

Whoa, M-Flo sounds really kewl. I prefer the mere generic J-Rock and not a whole lot fo English in that case when it comes to Japanese music, but this sounds really good too ^^

So M-Flo is about those two guys and features different singers in each song? 'Cause the female singer in the second vid looks different form the one in the first vid o.o

Loved the first song, although not really into the second song. The third was pretty epic. It was nice to hear guys singing in a less harsh voice xD
Hi, sorry about my lacking presence at RSF. I got busy with my off-line life, and though it's settled a bit, there's not much to do here without people posting (which is kind of my fault >.<)

If you do wanna make contact, here are some ways:

Again, I'm sorry, but I look forward to hearing from you guys!

I posted that second one cause the video is tops.
However, the third song is definitely in my top 2 favorite songs by them.
It comes right down to that and Way You Move, I think.
