I just checked my inbox for the first time in a very long time, it seems, and I caught an email from Rising Star. I couldn't help but smile. Not because the letter said that everyone misses me, but because I instantly started feeling nostalgic about the community here.
I guess I should explain my absence.
Simply put, I hit rock bottom. My life has been experiencing Murphy's Law at a breakneck pace, and it's kept me secluded in my bedroom, doing nothing but making depressing music and half-way playing video games. When I used the internet, it was primarily to (briefly) talk with a friend in California.
I'm not sure about today, but perhaps later on I'll go ahead and get myself busy here again. I would post something now, but all the mental energy required to do so is being taken up by this entry. Heh. So...thank you, guys, for caring. I had no idea that I was still somewhat important. That really shines a light on my day.
