Contra Fates

My brother and my mother recently had a stomach bug. I did everything I could to avoid getting it, from using sanitizer, to washing my hands constantly, to making sure not to be around them much...

But, of course, I got it. And worse than they did. I'm running a relatively high fever, I just recently was well enough to sit up in front of a computer screen. I haven't eaten anything for two days, since I can't hold anything down. Chris is getting me some gatorade and soup so I can at least have something in my system.

I actually left work early...on Saturday and Sunday. I'd feel okay when I woke up, but then about 2 hours in I'd feel like I was dying. Last night when we closed, my stomach was burning up, and I told my manager, who told me to go home. I vomited a couple of times at work, but it wasn't that bad. I went home, Chris ran a hot bath for me, and about a minute after I got out of the bath, I just got really, really sick. x_x I can tell you now that snacking on Starburst Juicy Gummies makes the contents of your stomach look waaay more festive than it should. x_x

tl;dr version: I'm sick as a dog. So, if I'm not around much, it's because I'm aching and sleeping. The flu sucks, and I know it's because that I tried to avoid it..that I got it.
