A Bit Obtuse

So, I was going through all the pictures on my phone and I saw the collection of pictures I took everytime I had an injury at work.

I thought it would be nice to share :]



Warning: Some pictures are kinda gross. And they're really big files because I have no way to make them smaller xD

Injury #1:

One night I was pushing milk crates into the back and one fell on my finger and squished it between another milk crate. Fucking painful. I almost screamed. Right away blood started to build up under my nail and my finger was swollen for days.

It took about a month and a half for the bruise to try and grow out of my nail. But eventually the nail started to peel and chip away. So I had to pull it off myself. Also painful and very gross.

Injury #2:
Another night I was called in to help a Co-Worker close the bakery and finish an order that was due the next day. I had to slice 75 individual baguettes as well as finishing all my regular duties. I was mad and I just wanted to get it done. So I was shoving the baguettes through the bread slicer as quickly as I could. A piece of the bread had gotten stuck and was jamming the machine, so I went to grab it and my hand went too far and the blades sliced the tip of my finger open.

It was deep. Hella deep. Not bone deep but deep enough for me to start bleeding all over the place. My coworker was trying to help me clean up the blood and put a bandaid one. I bled through the first two bandaids. Then I put pressure on the wound for about 5 mins then put new bandaids on. It didn't hurt that much, I just couldn't believe how deep it was.
Now I'm more cautious around that machine than ever xD







Injury #3:

This one isn't so bad. It looks worse than it actually is. The other day I was working in the deli, and I had to pull hot lasaunga out of the oven and put it in the freezer on the Bakery side. So I'm carrying this heavy ass tray and I ask one of the ladies to oepn the freezer door for me. She completely ignores me, so I tried to balance the tray while trying to open the door and I burnt my arm in the process. I got mad and threw the lasaunga on the table and threw open the freezer door and chucked the tray in there. See what happens when you ignore me. I get hurt then I get angry xD







That's all the injuries I have pictures for. I've hurt myself a lot at my job. I've sliced my fingers open so many times. or given myself papercuts. I've even tripped over a pile of cardboard boxes and busted up my knee. I'm a walking accident xD.
